04/03/2021 DEMONSTRATION CLASS DAY 1

Today's class was my last one for closing up teaching practice for the course. The topic which took was CHEMICAL BONDING.  All the feedback got from the students part as well as peer were all positive. I was happy to here that the concept was pretty much clear for each one of them present there. Thank yo Neena miss for giving me the opportunity for taking am individual class.                                                A small sequence from my demonstration class

18/02/2021 PRACTICE TEACHING 9

This topic seemed to be very familiar - PLASTICS. But students were not much aware about the different types of plastics. So I have used the daily life examples to relate the difference between the types of the plastics so that it made them more clear about the two types plastics.

COGNITIVE MAPS

A  cognitive map  (sometimes called, but should not be confused with, a  mental map  or  mental model ) is a type of  mental representation  which serves an individual to acquire, code, store, recall, and decode information about the relative locations and attributes of phenomena in their everyday or metaphorical spatial environment. The concept was introduced by  Edward Tolman  in 1948.The term was generalized by some researchers, especially in the field of  operations research , to refer to a kind of  semantic network  representing an individual's personal knowledge or  schemas . A  cognitive map  helps break down complex research questions, establish priorities for followup research, and add clarity to abstract concepts. In  cognitive mapping  sessions, users are asked to create a  map  of a process, concept, or problem. The  cognitive map  is a representation of users'  mental  models.
