08/02/2021 PRACTICE TEACHING DAY 1

Subject : Physics
Chapter: Sound
Topic    : Sources of sound, Frequency, Factors affecting natural frequency
The first class of internship phase 2 ..............
I was not tensed at all but very curious to interact with students. The subject teacher has introduced me to the class. I was so happy upon the quick responses from the students' part. I have started the class by introducing myself, then silent prayer followed by mentioning of certain instructions that need to followed throughout the online sessions.
1. All should mute their audio.
2.All need to respond via 'In call messages.'
3.In case of any network issue arise at the teacher's part or when the teacher is asked to mute anyone can unmute and respond.
Till the end students have maintained the instructions. I am very happy with the class.

I am happy that I could take the class to my satisfaction level. The feedback got from the students excited me a lot. The subject teacher too appreciated me for the class. I had included a Pranayama, BHASTRIKA murdering of bees to make clear the concept of "Sounds are being produced due to VIBRATIONS."

COGNITIVE MAPS

A  cognitive map  (sometimes called, but should not be confused with, a  mental map  or  mental model ) is a type of  mental representation  which serves an individual to acquire, code, store, recall, and decode information about the relative locations and attributes of phenomena in their everyday or metaphorical spatial environment. The concept was introduced by  Edward Tolman  in 1948.The term was generalized by some researchers, especially in the field of  operations research , to refer to a kind of  semantic network  representing an individual's personal knowledge or  schemas . A  cognitive map  helps break down complex research questions, establish priorities for followup research, and add clarity to abstract concepts. In  cognitive mapping  sessions, users are asked to create a  map  of a process, concept, or problem. The  cognitive map  is a representat...

18/02/2021 PRACTICE TEACHING 9

This topic seemed to be very familiar - PLASTICS. But students were not much aware about the different types of plastics. So I have used the daily life examples to relate the difference between the types of the plastics so that it made them more clear about the two types plastics.

My Link Practice - 15/10/2020

LINK LESSON - 4             TOPIC: PROPERTIES OF METALS             SKILLS: SET INDUCTION,           EXPLAINATIONS, STIMULUS VARIATION  The day consisted of 5 sessions and mine was the last. Despite of having the continuous long sessions on chemistry/ physics I am happy that I could draw attention of my peer team towards the class. I started with a refreshing life skill session followed by a 'challenging task' of completion of 7 properties within 7 minutes or around 7. I've checked the previous knowledge followed by explanation onto the "properties of metal" with the help of a video presentation  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r0Cut7EfxwA_tbu8qoTcc1GKGmc_acqi/view?usp=drivesdk .  I am thankful to Bodhi for presenting the video. I had completed the content explanation within 7.40 mins + 1.50 mins on c...
