The sessions today too were indeed good. The afternoon session was an interesting one, a group task - video making on a theme within Ivanious Vidya Nagar. A candid from video shoot 

A great experience on having a wounderful session by the resourse person, Sri Bhramanayakam sir. It was truly and ice breaking session. And after we had a very good folklore song entertainment session, Thudithalam.

Internship 2 has been a great experience. It was a great time with interacting students in online. All feedback got was being an award for me. Thanking the HM, Aby sir and my subject teachers Prince sir and Annamma teacher for their support through out the sessions. Also thanking my tutor Neena miss, general teachers- Maya miss, Ancy miss, Joju sir , Giby miss and our Principal, Benedict sir. Last but not the least thankfully to the almighty for all his blessings.

CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME  The programme was conducted for the class 8 students of St.Mary's HSS Pattom.  There were total 94 participants including student teachers and teacher in charge. We the physical science student teachers allotted on the same school conducted a team teaching session for this programme. The topic we dealt was about " Save Mother Earth from the clutches of Pollution." Students were given awareness on pollution its causes, effects and controlling measures. A feedback form was also collected at the end of the programme.

The last online teaching session for 8-O at St. Mary's HSS Pattom. It was a great experience to teach online for these long days. Happy to hear that students have got understood all the topics covered during these time period. It was a little bit emotional situation to bid farewell to these lil one.

This topic seemed to be very familiar - PLASTICS. But students were not much aware about the different types of plastics. So I have used the daily life examples to relate the difference between the types of the plastics so that it made them more clear about the two types plastics. 

A good evening spent with the tots by teaching Static electricity. Students were more excited to know the science behind why scale attracts bits of paper. They were pretty much aware about all the examples but not the reason behind it. All of them were very energetic.

The team of peer teaching consists of three members, myself - Archana Sudevan, Anjima J Nair and Anatte V Chacko. The topic was very relevant to be discussed at this time. Today's class too was very vibrant. Students seemed to be very interested in learning the topics with more enthusiasm everyday. All were very active through out the session.

I have started a new chapter today. Students have a knowledge about different types of clothes they wear. The new topic for them were POLYMER AND MONOMER .The concept of polymer and a monomer were made clear with the a bead chain.

This was the last session for completion of the chapter water. The topic dealt today was all about hard water, soft water, heavy water, water and gases along with water pollution.

The main topics covered in today's session was surface tension, electrolysis and water- the universal solvent. Electrolysis was new to the students which was made more clear using a video.

Today I have used Jamboard for describing the topics.Students were so excited on seeing a blackboard on their screen. I have taken up the session in a Q and A session. A question was put forward via the jamboard presentation sand students were asked to come up with their inferences. I have thought about this strategy because the topics are well related to daily life and all have seen or heard about the same.                                                          Collage on Jamboard presentation 

The session seemed to be more energetic. Students were so excited on viewing the animations in the power point presentation. All ensured their quick and good responses throughout the class.

Subject : Physics  Chapter: Sound Topic    : Propagation and characteristics of sound, hearing The session mainly focused upon delivering the topics- characteristics of sound as well as hearing. The topics were made clear with the help of diagrams and pictures. Students have done their follow up activity. Today I took attendance as per the class teacher's instruction. All the students were active in responding to the questions asked.

Subject : Physics  Chapter: Sound Topic    : Sources of sound, Frequency, Factors affecting natural frequency  The first class of internship phase 2 .............. I was not tensed at all but very curious to interact with students. The subject teacher has introduced me to the class. I was so happy upon the quick responses from the students' part. I have started the class by introducing myself, then silent prayer followed by mentioning of certain instructions that need to followed throughout the online sessions. 1. All should mute their audio. 2.All need to respond via 'In call messages.' 3.In case of any network issue arise at the teacher's part or when the teacher is asked to mute anyone can unmute and respond. Till the end students have maintained the instructions. I am very happy with the class. We have reached the school, St Mary's HSS , Pattom by 10.00 am and by 10.45 signed in officially for the internship programme. Then met my subject teacher corrected the lesson plan and did the school based duties assigned as per the HM's order. We were asked to be there at the school till noon.

The topic of my project work was "A STUDY ON MOBILE BASED MICRO  LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS." I did my project work under the guidance of the Principal, MTTC, Dr.K Y Benedict Sir. I am happy that I had  presented my project in front of the Panel consisting of Dr Ancy A S , Shiney Jacob , Dr Joju John and along with my guide's presence.
